Repeated suspicious deaths in Initiation BR – is anti-cheat working?

Hi everyone,

A friend of mine recently bought BF6, and I’ve been playing with him in Initiation Battle Royale to help him learn the game. Unfortunately, after 2–3 wins, we repeatedly run into the same issue: we get eliminated almost instantly from very long distances (300m+), with no line of sight, in under half a second.

This has happened for 3–4 days in a row, always in the same mode, and always after a few consecutive wins. What’s strange is that the player involved appears to remain at a very low level across multiple days, despite consistently dominating matches.

I’m not here to accuse anyone by name, but the experience feels extremely suspicious and has completely killed the fun for my friend — to the point where he already stopped playing.

My question is:
Has anyone else experienced similar situations in Initiation BR, and does EA actually take action on reports in this mode?

I’m genuinely curious whether this is a known issue, a matchmaking problem, or something anti-cheat related.
