Reporting players

Are the reports actually being processed, or do they just disappear into the void? I haven’t received any feedback for a few weeks now. I report at least 5 players in every game if they seem fishy to me. Is it possible that if you submit a lot of reports, you stop being taken seriously?

Hey F4cepalm,

All the reports received are investigated, and our teams will take action according to our policies.

However, for privacy reasons, we can’t give you information about our investigation or what actions we take on another player’s account.

If you get an email update from us saying we didn’t take action on the account, the case will be closed.

Thank you for reporting players you suspect are cheating; please keep doing it.

It definitely makes a difference and helps our teams keep up with new ways to cheat as they are developed.

No, I keep getting the emails. I'm probably even the guy they brought up in the in depth anti-cheat post.
I still get the "thanks, we took action" emails, so I can confirm that no amount of reporting will cause them to ignore your reports. There does seem to be a system, or maybe the system isn't designed with me in mind, that will clear your blocks/mutes though. Because I'll block people, then see them in the next match, which ok matchmaking and all that, but then I see them the next week as well. What's the point of a block then?

Yep, that's right. It's a communication block so doesn't affect matchmaking.
