I would love to be able to try out HOTAS BF ngl, but idk if they'd allow it cause iirc mixed inputs are becoming more and more banned as a way to combat xim/cronus type cheating. Know a few folks werent too happy when Apex said no more mouse aim with controller movement.

So ig we have cheaters to thank for taking our toys away.

I agree to the request of HOTAS support. need it on other vehicles also. From my point of view its a big malfunction of this game. Please bring it back !!

I've been playing BF since the beginning. I agree this is needed in a big way. At this point in time there is no reason not to have it. The cost to the developer can't be much to have this added. Arguably you likely would get enough sim pilots out there buying the game that it  would  off set the cost and potentially increase overall profit. 

I've been playing Battlefield since the old days with my dad on a decommissioned hospital corporate server set up for public use. It would be badass to have HOTAS again, so I can use my Thrustmaster Xbox-style controller to be a terror in the skies again. The last couple of BF's have sorely lacked this feature. You have two months to polish the game from where it stands. I urge you to strongly consider this. It will pay dividends.

I agree with you, it would be greatly needed. In BF4, I only control aircraft with Hotas. Interestingly, it's a 2013 game and it received this kind of support 

Please also add HOTAS support for console players, and not just PC players. Would love to see this support come with BF6.

Making a game, in which you can fly jets and helicopters, without HOTAS support would be like not supporting racing wheels in GTA5.

Chat GPT found reports of people trying to map with steam input. Either way, direct support is preferred. 

I know the focus has been on the controller experience....but this is what made BF stand out for me when I first played BF2. To see the experience continue through BF4 and then suddenly drop...it no longer set the game apart. Other FPS games started catching up with vehicles and gameplay...and this support would once again set the tone for the rest of the AAA shooter gaming community. Shoot with controller, fly with HOTAS. Would once again be a unique gaming experience. (As much as I hate this template ) Make Battlefield Great Again (w/ HOTAS direct support). Just my two cents.

Joysticks aren't even rare or even uncommon now. With games like Star Citizen, Elite Dangerous, War Thunder, DCS, and even Trackmania using them.

I posted that I have a Joystick and can map it in the joystick section, but it doesn't work in game. The joystick is analog and works in 2042. I mean just a regular Joystick not one of the fancy HOTAS controllers. Anyway, I posted the mappings in my post, so the game does see it.

This was one of the BIGGEST reasons I played Battlefield instead of that Cod junk...why would you take it out? Are we hopping on the inclusion bandwagon for the consoles?...Gamepads run about $70 now a days, I can get a Logitech Extreme 3d Pro for $30 brand new and it BLOWS the gamepad out of the water control wise...Bring back HOTAS support!!!

I have a HOSAS setup and I was able to bind one stick, it doesn't recognise the second stick though. Cant say if it works for a throttle in a HOTAS setup as i dont have one. I bind pitch, yaw and roll to my stick and the stick buttons for flare, switch weapons etc. For throttle up and down i just use W and S on my keyboard. I tested it and the joystick worked fine (T16000m HOSAS)

Bringing HOTAS back to BF would extend it's life a great deal and create more opportunities to monetize.  

This is real BS we pay all the money for this game. I purchased every Battlefield game, and not one would they put support for joysticks, REAL BS....  always have to use some third party BS....they have the section, and when you try to add your keybinds it never F'in works

Need full hotas support for split input hotas ( both throttle and stick have there own usb) please this is really important to people who enjoy flying I know we are not many but please add this in 

agreed! Wanted to configure my NXT Setup, wasn't able to. Won't install software for virtual controller stuff cause, I don't wanna get banned for this stuff you had not implemented...
