Love the videos and the information so far, looks like an amazing game!
I wanted to put in a request for the return of HOTAS support - allow us to map to the axis of control for our own controllers of choice. I am a long time BF flyer, but the last couple versions no longer support HOTAS configuration. Hoping this returns in version 6!
Guarantee we are getting punked again. BF6 most customizations ever they say. Yea right.
I know the focus has been on the controller experience....but this is what made BF stand out for me when I first played BF2. To see the experience continue through BF4 and then suddenly drop...it no longer set the game apart. Other FPS games started catching up with vehicles and gameplay...and this support would once again set the tone for the rest of the AAA shooter gaming community. Shoot with controller, fly with HOTAS. Would once again be a unique gaming experience. (As much as I hate this template ) Make Battlefield Great Again (w/ HOTAS direct support). Just my two cents.

Chat GPT found reports of people trying to map with steam input. Either way, direct support is preferred.
Making a game, in which you can fly jets and helicopters, without HOTAS support would be like not supporting racing wheels in GTA5.
Please also add HOTAS support for console players, and not just PC players. Would love to see this support come with BF6.

I agree with you, it would be greatly needed. In BF4, I only control aircraft with Hotas. Interestingly, it's a 2013 game and it received this kind of support
I've been playing Battlefield since the old days with my dad on a decommissioned hospital corporate server set up for public use. It would be badass to have HOTAS again, so I can use my Thrustmaster Xbox-style controller to be a terror in the skies again. The last couple of BF's have sorely lacked this feature. You have two months to polish the game from where it stands. I urge you to strongly consider this. It will pay dividends.
I've been playing BF since the beginning. I agree this is needed in a big way. At this point in time there is no reason not to have it. The cost to the developer can't be much to have this added. Arguably you likely would get enough sim pilots out there buying the game that it would off set the cost and potentially increase overall profit.

I agree to the request of HOTAS support. need it on other vehicles also. From my point of view its a big malfunction of this game. Please bring it back !!
