- iLuckyBrad7 hours agoSeasoned NoviceIv stopped going for alot of revives cause of people sat wanting a revive out in open being shot at by everyone and the guys who give up just as u get to them, most of the time i end up dead cause of them so iv just stopped bothering unless they flop down near me, really just need to split ammo/medic class and re-do the support. Classes didnt need a change could of just added the assault on as a new one or something
- ghostflux7 hours agoRising AceI think reviving itself already has pretty strong incentives. It gives you 50 points for a regular revive and 100 points for a squad revive. In addition to that, there's the fact that you now have a teammate supporting you. There's probably a different reason why people are not reviving: - Lack of awareness: You need to be looking around to find players that are dead.
- Lack of smoke grenades: Currently, only the Support class has smokes, while your non-support squad mates can also revive you.
So I think the easiest two solutions to this problem are to introduce some user interface improvements that would allow a medic to be more clearly notified whenever there's somebody near you asking for a revive. In addition to that, introducing smoke grenades to all classes would certainly help. If you want to take it one step further, you could consider adding revives to the scoreboard.
