SecureBoot requirement is abusive

I have played Battlefield 6 since the open beta and the very day of the launch, i bought a premium EA membership just for this game, then with the last update i started to get the message about SecureBoot not activated, and im not touching anything on my PC, i want to play a game, so there is no reason i surrender control over my computer, nor thinker my BIOS because you suddenly change the terms on your own accord, i have cancelled my subscription and not coming back until this abusive requirement if off.

You needed secure boot to play in the open beta. You needed secure boot on day 1 launch. what are you going on about?

SecureBoot has been a known requirement since the beta and part of the system requirements. If you managed to play without it enabled I don't know what to tell you, but numerous people were here during the beta needing to turn it on in order to play.

There's no use complaining about this, every online shooter requires it today. Probably also one of the reasons they forced everyone to transition to Win11.

My friend, if you are not using secure boot before this game came out, your system is probably infected, just saying.

And yet another reason I started back gaming on console. Purchased and Xbox series X specifically for BF6 and it’s keyboard and mouse support. Boots up 200x faster than my gaming PC and have had absolutely no issues with gaming. No constant driver updates that literally do absolutely nothing, no troubleshooting constant issues, etc. Do yourself a favor and get a good console. I promise your aches and pains from PC gaming will disappear instantly.
