Server browser

The current server crap they have is horrible. Either puts me in games where the team is being crushed or makes me play the same 2 maps over and over again. Give us persistent servers for the love of God! And don't give me the portal crap because portal is already dead.

I'm sorry to say, but I don't think matchmake and persistent and server browser are words that technologically go together.

I know you dislike Portal, but it's what you have.

matchmaking is complete crap, I'm completely against it honestly. Not having a legitimate server browser with official servers is mind-boggling in 2025. Anyone that thinks this system is good has either never played a game with a real server browser or is special needs.

The game does have server browser like David Sirland have said. Though he said he would look into making adjustments to it.

I don't think it is good. I just don't know how else you'll get the game mode, maps, and players you want to play with, in your area, without it. There are so many modes, maps, and cross-play options, that having enough dedicated servers and predicted overhead for any situation, seems unfeasible. We have so many modes, maps, REDSEC, gauntlet, mixed-modes, and cross-play options, that matchmaking is used to create the server where it is needed, destroy it, move it, and change it all on the fly.

It does. Go to community experiences and browse the servers. Many choices. Exactly what you want. Embrace it.
