Sniping is worthless in most situations yet weirdly addicting as people gamble for the dopamine rush of that next headshot
My dad got me into this game starting with Battlefield 1942 he bought it for me on discs and I don’t really remember snipers playing like that back then.
In my opinion, snipers should be limited, because it’s useless to have half of a 32-player team as snipers. Now I understand that guys can get up and do something, but most of the time they’re just going for bonus kills.
It’s really not enjoyable to lose your defensive position, or conversely, to be attacking, and in a server of 64 people, only 20 are actually fighting because you’re carrying the entire match or trying to hold positions. I’m always at the top of every leaderboard if I start the match from the very beginning, 98% of the time I’m first but that’s another topic. Let’s get back to the sniper limit: it would improve the overall environment in the game and create real balance.
