The shotgun pulling 134 damage is insane, it needs to be nerfed to 90 damage so that any other weapon at least has a chance to counter. There are squads teaming up with shotguns and flashlights blinding opponents getting..in my last game 25-2, 20-1, 18-0 k/d. Just shows how broken it is. We don't even have time to ADS our weapon, split second, boom dead.
and it dominates in close quarters more so than the shotguns.
Shotgun abuser spotted! This is a straight up lie though. There are no SMG that one shots you with zero counterplay. I agree they kill fast, but they are not even nearly as frustrating than getting one tapped by a shotgun at a distance over 15m. If you lose to a SMG with a shotgun at close range it is because you miss, or you get caught off guard.. so you could argue the fault is on you. If you lose to a shotgun it is more often because the weapon just performs way better, even at ranges it should not. The shotgun is simply unbalanced, and it is just making the game experience worse for the players who do not wish to abuse it themselves.
Shotgun is actually a high skill weapon.
I can't take that comment seriously 😂It is the least skillful weapon in the game, and I don't think that is even up for debate. That does not mean Shotguns should not have it's place in the game, but at the moment it is too good, and it needs drastically faster damage fall off too reduce its potential one shot range.
I looked up your stats and I see you have 4x kills with shotgun (444 kills) compared to your next best weapon. You have played it for 9h 14m while your second most played weapon 2h 41m. I understand why you are defending it as you clearly like it soo much.. but I am betting even you know exactly how OP it is, which is why you abuse it.

If it is, getting headshot point blank from an ak47 "should" kill you in 1 shot aswell.
