Shotguns

Why are shotguns a quick snap one shot kill over distance ..... again ......... I thought DICE would have learnt from the beta having an OP shotgun clears lobby's.

I was just in a lobby and the opposing team had two members solely using shotguns for the entire map,  they where absolutely decimating the entire field, to the degree once the round was over I shut down the game to take a break and decided to post here.

I know historically DICE has had a hardon for shotguns; but historically you had rabid fan base that put up with those over powered weapons. Now the average gamer has grown up with a large body of work to choose from and they stop playing games that annoy them and shift to other titles,

Seeing how you decided not to **bleep** shotguns It is now an arms race to the bottom, as in the beta when you start getting entire lobby's only using shotguns the game becomes stale and boring and people stop playing ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, um DICE/EA that equates to MONEY LO$T !!

This sucks that I'm posting a whine post straight away I actually like the game it reminds me a lot of MoD Warfighter which was a great game with a such a short lifespan but that's the reason I'm posting this, I would like this game have a longer lifespan then warfighter.
