Sights are horrible, can barely see the "red" dot

It's interesting with all the customization to UI, including the crosshair while the actual sights are so bad. It's like someone user some strong chemicals to wipe away the red (or whatever that dark, blurry color is)  off the sight. I am now looking into crosshair overlays and or buying a new monitor with a good enough, customizable crosshair to compensate. Will this actually be fixed? Anything from EA on this topic?
