Solo play with Bots PvE; A Simple Proposal to Bring Back Solo vs. Bots

Hi EA_Leeuw EA_Rtas  and hopefully the dev team and Rebecka Coutaz, Criterion and Dice GM/VP

I wanted to share a constructive, realistic idea regarding the Solo vs. Bots experience. I know the launch window brought major headaches with Portal "bot farms" overloading cloud servers and breaking the progression economy. EA had to step in at the time to protect server quotas and stop progression exploits.

However, now that the game has been out for a while and the concurrent player base has leveled out, the overall server demand is a tiny fraction of what it was during launch month. Because of this, I believe there is a very simple, low-resource compromise that would give solo players their sandbox back without threatening EA’s server infrastructure or requiring complex programming (like building an entire offline local play mode).

Here is the proposal for a lightweight, completely free "Solo Practice & Sandbox Mode":

## The Core Constraints (To Protect EA's Servers & progression)

* Zero Progression: Absolutely no Weapon Mastery, Vehicle Unlocks, Level XP, or Battle Pass progression. This completely destroys the incentive for macro users or AFK bot farms. Lobbies will only be used by people who genuinely want to practice, fly, or relax.

* Locked Game Modes: Restrict the mode strictly to standard, unedited Conquest and Breakthrough.

* Fixed Solo Player/Bot Counts: Lock the match to standard 64-player layouts.

*Standard Multipliers: No custom logic builders or modified health pools. The servers only have to load a single, basic template file, drastically reducing CPU strain on EA's data centers.

## The Only Options Needed (For Gameplay Value)

To keep the mode fun and functional for the community, players would only need three basic selections on the menu:

*Map Selection: The ability to pick any map from the active pool to practice layouts or vehicle routes.

*Bot Difficulty: Dropdown presets for Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced AI.

*Sandbox Attachment Access: Since this mode features zero progression, all gun attachments should be automatically unlocked only while inside this specific mode. This transforms the mode into a true "Firing Range" environment where solo players can test out different weapon builds and vehicle loadouts against AI before taking them into live multiplayer matches.

## Why This is a Win-Win for Developers and Players

Because the active group of people who would use a solo-bot mode is small enough now, the server network can easily absorb the traffic without triggering "Global Game Quota Exceeded" errors. Furthermore, changing a map, unlocking attachments locally, or shifting a bot difficulty multiplier doesn't require complex coding—those systems are already deeply baked into the engine.

This approach requires almost zero development time, costs EA nothing extra in server overhead, protects multiplayer balance, and gives the solo PvE community exactly what they need and had at game launch.

Hopefully, the Ea team can consider it as a simple quality-of-life update for the next update! …and can the community managers please forward this to EA people in charge of BF6, thanks.

Add progression as long as there is no custom logic. Put in an XP cap like in BF2042 if it feels required, but just give PvE players progression too.

Great post. If they implemented exactly how they did solo PvE games in 2042 that would make a lot of people very happy. PvE players would get to enjoy the game they paid for and noobs could learn how to fly in a solo game before trying online.
