As the title says, I’d love to see the reintroduction of solo/co-op modes from 2042 since I’m someone who would rather play games on my own and the portal servers are extremely difficult to get into. Trying to start a portal game is genuinely awful, I’ve been sat around for upwards of 20 minutes just pressing the “host” button trying to play the game.
Just one more vote for the addition of a solo/coop mode like described earlier. Love to play casual bot matches with friends, and portal is completely broken. I can't understand the decision to not include the option in the main menu right away. 2042 had it, why not BF6? Dear devs, PLEASE add a solo/coop mode!
They should add solo/coop mode but all unlocks should be unlocked and you gain 0 xp towards your online profile.
That way you can mess around with all the cool stuff in the game stress free.
Agree 100%. My friends and I played nothing but solo/co-op in 2042 and enjoyed it more than anything else. Getting older, certain health issues and just the lack of enjoyment trying to sweat just make this game changing for us as Battlefield fans. We could enjoy it at our pace and enjoy even the smallest details of a beautiful shooter. We were very pleased with the ability to make solo/co-op style verified portal servers with full progression in BF6 (when we can get a server), only to get slapped with a severe weapon XP nerf and now recently reading how they are nuking everything but a match bonus in bot games. It's so unfair that this is ruined because of the XP farming servers that took over portal. Let's hope that verified modes, even with bots for a co-op experience like in 2042 can still maintain progression. They need to bring back the co-op playlist like in 2042, leave progression, challenges, weapon xp active, just pair it back a bit, don't obliterate it to eliminate xp farming servers, that's ridiculous. We are pretty bummed out hearing the newest update about this. Dice, take my money, I will buy a server if we can keep earning in game progression in solo/co-op servers in the verified portal games.
Don't play solo but I am trying to teach my nephews how to play. Suggestion for this type of play would be that everything should be available from the get go as this is more for enjoyment or training. Grinding should be left to multipler servers
I would certainly like to see a solo mode again. I enjoyed solo a lot in 2042.
