Dice have openly said they are prioritising the game on console, things such as balance changes etc are done with consoles in mind.
Yes, do you know how tedious it is trying to flank behind enemy lines over and over, the spawn beacon allowed recon to set up a forward base, placing strategic tugs to map enemy movement for your team.
That playstyle is now not worth the effort.

Do you have any source of the information (link) that DICE are prioritizing the consoles, please? I am not aware of such statement. As far as I know, they only said that the matchmaking prioritizes other consoles when playing on one, but that's it.
There was a pcgamer article about it a while ago.
Thanks. I have found the article, they are referring to this IGN interview I've read before and maybe it's not entirely clear from the article, but the interview is in the line that they (DICE) really care about the console version, that it isn't just a PC port, but not that they are prioritizing it at the expense of PC version. :)
