Subject: Request to Restore Russian Language Support in Battlefield 6
Dear EA, DICE, Ripple Effect, Criterion, Industrial Toys, and all studios involved in creating Battlefield 6,
I am 18 years old and have been a fan of your games since childhood. Back in school, I would come home after classes and immediately immerse myself in Battlefield. I admit — in those days, I sometimes used pirated versions, as I had no money but a huge desire to play. Now, things have changed: I earn my own income and want to support developers by purchasing the games I truly love, to relive the emotions I felt years ago.
Games almost never release in my native language, and I have learned to accept that. However, I also learned Russian as a child during travels with my parents, and ever since, I have been used to playing, reading subtitles, and fully understanding the story in Russian.
For this reason, the absence of Russian localization in Battlefield 6 is especially disappointing — not only for me, but for millions of Russian-speaking players who have a deep love for your series. Many of us feel excluded and saddened by this decision.
I fully understand the world is facing complex political circumstances. But we, the players, are ordinary people who simply want to enjoy your games. Localization is not about politics — it is about uniting players, sharing your vision, and ensuring that everyone can experience your stories as intended.
On behalf of the Russian-speaking community, I respectfully ask you to consider adding at least Russian subtitles and translated menus. This small step would allow millions of players to fully enjoy Battlefield 6 while continuing to support your work.
Games should bring people together, not drive them apart.
Thank you for all the emotions and unforgettable moments you have given us over the years.
Sincerely,
los4r
