Support training paths

I have not been able to see an effect on the Steady Aim perk of the Fire Support training path. Are there any videos which tested this? I don't notice any difference.

The Combat Medic perk that lengthens the duration of interception gadgets and strengthens the shield seems to be a better fit for the Fire Support class since it uses those gadgets extensively.

Maybe the Steady Aim or the explosive resistance perk can be traded with the medic.
