Fellow doctors, we have been forsaken!
I wrote a post about this recently but it seems mostly unheard, Voice your opinions! The Defibilator changes must go!
How many matches have you played where you've garnered 50+ revives simply because you're the only support playing as a proper medic, now what is to be done with us. We have been cast out and forgotten in the name of "balance". Elite heli pilots still dominate the skies, AA gunners keep youre average gamer from seeing the clouds, And WE The Medics Who Care dominated our domain, WE were that one player in the match anyone could rely on, WE were the ones who got to the top of the leaderboard with 0 kills and stayed. And now WE have been forgotten, now the only real medics in the game can no longer do their job WE can't do our job. All in the name of balance. I know it may seem petty, but like I said before, that was OUR domain, no different then that heli pilot who has 130 kills, or that one jet pilot who hates other people playing the game. WE had a skill, and now it's practically useless. Change the Defibrillators back. Please.
-Sincerely, The Medics Who Care
I don't think it's a defibrillator only thing, the change has just reduced the spam reviving with them and that's about it.
What this post has highlighted more though is people wanting a dedicated fifth medic class. Support and Medic are two separate roles, that have clear distinctions between them, being merged only muddies the water.
I play support as a medic, I have little interest in the " support " side of things when I pick that class, I'm sure their are people who are the opposite than me, who don't want to revive people but now have that responsibility thrust upon them.

Exactly! We need a dedicated medic class
I think if they kept the time it takes to charge to full and the limited charges but got rid of the delay between being able to use the defibrillators it would work just fine it kind of reminds me of the syringes in battlefield 1 and the only problem I ever had with those is they never detected the person needing revived causing a lot of trouble that didn't need to happen, but battlefield 6 is quite a bit faster paced which is fine but the defibrillators need to reflect that, having such a tiny delay just makes it annoying and clunky

I made a couple of posts a few days ago which you'd find interesting.
I built a BF6 concept with a five class system, two training paths and signature weapons for each to boot.
Medics get carbines as a class weapon, one training path is medic bag and drag revive focused, the other is defib and mobility focused.
