The outcry about boosting is a Red Herring

Couldn't have said it better.

I haven't played BF6 since they destroyed the portal and I refuse to come back until its reverted back. 

As soon as I seen the trailer of BF6 and how the portal was supposed to be.. Create your own experiences and progress play how you want. I pre-ordered right after that. Even put a positive comment.

They made me out to be a liar on that comment after they baited and switched us. Ill stand my ground. I won't load BF6 again until they give us what was promised.

I was under the impression I was able to create my own experiences play them with family and friends only. I dont like the toxicity of multi-player or those undetectable cheats they use in multi-player. I dont believe that 98% of games are cheater free. 

Apparently not. 

Having a fps game that your shots dont register all the time is a game breaker for me. I like to use DMRs and putting 4 shots into someone then them turn and lazer me with a smg is bs.

The game is so broken. I can wait til its fixed usually its 2 to 4 years for them to get things right anyway.

Ill just play Arc Raiders. 

PS...The static option for bots is what created this whole farming bot problem. <removed>

I have 2 boosting outcries, and they are related to EA's actions.

1. EA STILL has not revoked approval of those farms. Those farms still get full XP, mastery, unlocks, and are 1-person start. What EA has done is make every other server, which are almost always more legitimate (how could you make anything "worse"?!?) and almost always an actual game that has a purpose, not attractive to anyone; because the newer servers, which took more time and effort to make, and are usually not farms, have no XP or are much harder to 'start' (populate due to min player requirements). EA has done the exact opposite of promoting the experiences it pretends to promote.
2. Because EA has effectively encouraged people to use portal for no reason other than boosting, it also ends up making portal's performance suck. Why? Because those boosting servers are terrible for network load. They waste an entire server of 64 slots on only one actual human player. Since each human has their own server with no other humans in it, every human who boosts will waste a TON of resources.  If you made legitimate experiences more attractive, maybe people would get almost as much XP or whatever they are after in legitimate experiences that have at least one other human in them. They might sacrifice a little boosting for a game that is actually enjoyable to play.  But since item #1 makes that impossible, item #2 is a major problem for every other community server.

Then why are you wanting to boost in portal if it doesn't give you better equipment to use against others? 

I agree with you I don't see the big issue here as it let people play the way they want, I personally like leveling up my weapons in a normal match, but I am a terrible pilot so I would like to level up my helicopters and jets in portal so I could get the unlocks for those without having to take away from a team online where I would just crash or get shot down by someone better then me.

I have a lot of time to play after I get home from work, but I wouldn't mind letting those that don't have much time to game have a chance at catching up on attachments if they choose to do it through portal.

As you mentioned having unlocked everything doesn't make you better at the game and you can easily kill people with the default weapon/attachments if you know what you're doing.

I understand the part where it fill up their servers with bot farming lobbies is a problem, but why not let those that want to go through farming that way host locally and still level up their stuff if they choose to. That would solve the limited servers we can host online wouldn't it? And it would let those creative people host their custom modes online without worrying about bot farms filling up the server list.
