I am not shocked by this. They did the exact same thing with BF2042. Full progression on release, only to get rid of it almost immediately. I figured with how this one advertised for full xp in portal and they allowed back fill with bots; the intended design of the game was to have full xp in the base game modes in portal no matter what. All they had to do really is make stats or any leaderboard stuff that was done against AI does not count, but still give progression and the ability to finish challenges.
I guess I was the naive one that fell for it again. Got excited about this game and being able to play and unlock everything in portal with some bots in games that couldn't get filled, but I should have known that it was going to get changed the second the "only the best should get to earn stuff in pvp, playing against bots shouldn't count" comments began to happen.
