The problem with progression

The reason why we have these bot farm servers is because of how the challenges are made. It is annoying to have things locked behind a level wall. It is even more so to make them sequential. Getting rid of those two things would alleviate the problem tremendously.

The reason why is redundancy. For example, if someone had destroyed 50 aircraft they should complete the challenge. Unfortunately, the system in place says you must be of a certain level AND complete prerequisite challenges. ONLY THEN CAN YOU START MAKING PROGRESS.

The challenge itself is great! Destroying vehicles is something that happens in natural play and should be rewarded. Making your players "eat their vegetables" to do a challenge is bad.

We didn't do it for the dog tags, which is amazing! When you decide to challenge yourself, you can pick any dogtag to go for. No level or prerequisite dog tag required.

Also, we have a rendezook dog tag? How do we have a tag like that, and have a mind numbing challenge like 6000 repairs in a match? This is battlefield! Where things happen ONLY IN BATTLEFIELD. why do we not have challenges of launching c4 jeeps as tanks? How about dropping buildings on people? We have an amazing playground and should be able to do better than 2000 grenade damage.

As the life of the game continues, we should try to entice players to be creative within the sandbox. Otherwise players will keep optimizing the fun out of the game with "reach big number challenge".
