These classes suck

I feel like they dropped the ball on this game with the classes. I was very happy they stuck with the traditional class system of battlefield, but they weren't very smart about it.

The Assault class is absolutely underwhelming. The grenade launcher isn't that great in my opinion. The ladder was a cool idea but very limited on use location. Potentially having two primary weapons doesn't really do much for me.

They could have given Assaulted either c4 or some sort of breaching charge that takes down walls or aleast an explosive to cause some damage to enemy armor. Personally they should have stayed as medics like BF4.

The Support class isn't bad. The ammo you get from the resupply box. They should ramp it back up to the BF4 supply box. I wish they also got C4 again but Im OK if they gave it to Assaulted or engineer 

Engineer is great, but they launchers are so underpowered except for the rpg. The mines are really good but I don't necessarily like how there is a space limit to how close you can put them. The slams are awful. They need to be slightly stronger or atleast give more than 3. And the new motion sensory top down mine sucks. Especially if you only get one of them.

Recon... for the love of god, they need to ban any optics less that 6x or 8x on sniper rifles. Im sick of kids on hardcore mode running around doing CQB with one tap sniper rifles and short range scopes. Also, this is the worst sniper epidemic I've seen in battlefield. Every lobby feels like it's probably 50% or more recon class sniping. Maybe they should consider putting a limit on how many snipers a team can have, like on some other games. I started playing BF6 with a bunch of a friend's I've played with since Bad Company 2. Most of them have already quit playing because they are fed up with how many snipers are in every game. 

 Simple fixes i feel would make a big difference. I primary play anti vehicle. So engineer class buffs and addition C4 for more than just one class would be great.  Assault class definitely needs some love and attention cause it's almost useless.

    The grenade launcher is great. No complaints there. Assault is underwhelming because the Adrenaline injector is absolutely useless. The duration is way too short to even make something happen before it wears off again. Compared to how long it lasts, it actively puts you at a disadvantage due to the time it takes to inject yourself.

    This isn't needed because every single class can equip the sledgehammer.

    Engineer is great, but they launchers are so underpowered except for the rpg.

    Lock-on launchers can lock-on to painted targets from the laser designator or tracer dart, while the RPG can't. The MBT-LAW has the advantage that it does not need to care about which side it hits the tank, because it will always do a top-down attack. It's only the Aim-guided launcher and RPG must be shot at the back of the tank to do the most damage. The Javelin has the advantage of potentially having a much longer effective range. It's just a matter of trade-offs.
