This game, just ain't it.

Games been fun for a while.
But there's so many balance issues along with movement issues as well as performance issues that it's just becoming a nuisance to play.

And i think despite the games issues the big elephant in the room is that many people feel like this is just a CoD Clone.
And they are right, we were promised large maps. And we got small to medium maps. The small maps are so tight and compact with endless flanking routes that people are playing the game as if it is a CoD game.
The sliding paired with jumping is still a huge issue that was meant to have been fixed. This game doesn't need to be a fast paced arcade shooter like CoD, that's why people who play Battlefield play it over CoD.
It's supposed to be methodical, tactical and slower. You're not meant to be running, sliding jumping around the map like an idiot. The new map feels like a quick haphazardly slapped together map. Some terrain editing then assets slapped down around the place to give partial cover on points.

And this is in no way disrespecting the dev team at all, but i think there needs to be some sort of discussion about what makes a Battlefield map a battlefield map and perhaps looking at previous maps that have been popular and analyzing the way they are set out, form flag distances to terrain design to building placements and overall flow.
I guarantee you rework a classic map that people love, and they will play the **bleep** out of it and not because of nostalgia, but because it works.

These maps are not only too small for Battlefield 64x64, you can't do anything worthwhile without being shot from behind because its so tight and close that you can't actually clear places like you would in previous games. There's too much clutter. You also can't even fly a jet for more than 5 seconds on these "bigger" maps before you are out of bounds. Especially on the new map its even less.

I d have hope with Dice's quickness in the beginning to peoples complaints, Removing Bot farming XP, Re-adding 1000 tickets, But this new map and the fact we are still catering to fast CoD style play is going to ruin this franchise. 2042 was horrendous because they tried to CoDify the game. This too will fall if they don't listen to the OG players and return it to a battlefield game.

As for issues with the current state this is some of the big stuff I've noticed.

TTK an TTD are out of sync( Takes 12 bullets to kill someone point blank, and only 4 to die in an instant.)

Sliding, jumping and shooting
(needs to be nerfed, either no jumping after sliding for a second or 2. And No ADS while sliding)

AA lock-on is far too quick (Needs to be slightly longer, also Below radar is too low, you need to be kissing the ground)

Tank mines everywhere ( they should be blocked if someone is already running a rocket launcher. Engineer shouldn't have both)

Tank splash damage for HE is weak ( needs a buff, you have to practically aim at their feet for it to work)

Explosive damage in general is too weak ( C4, rockets and others do next to no damage to people)

Vehicles camping uncaps ( annoying on modes like breakthrough where you can't get close enough to kill them and they just reverse back behind a hill)

Effective range for sniper ( this 1 shot to body if close enough shouldn't be a thing. It makes sniping easy and OP. Either buff every other weapon, or get rid of this)

Bloom on weapons is out of control (Battlefield has always had little to no recoil, but adding bloom to counter this is a dumb mechanic. My AR/Carbine shots shouldn't be deviating from 75-100m or under when i'm ADS not moving.)

SMG's are laser beams ( the only guns that should have bloom at long ranges have next to none, fix this ASAP)

Suppression doesn't actually do anything ( i know its supposed to make you less accurate, but it doesn't. 90% of people have 0 effort in returning accurate fire when "suppressed)

Bradley paint and TOW ( obviously it is broken and needs a fix ASAP)

Rockets to Small Vehicles only do 85% damage ( why isn't this 1 shot? It's always been 1 shot to kill a transport vehicle with an RPG now its a waste of a rocket.)

Resupply is too slow (i know they've changed this, but it's so slow. Perhaps the more supply bags down, the quicker the resupply)

Grenades being Class locked ( i don't get why all classes can't pick which grenades to use. Locking them to classes is silly)

UI in respawn screen gets in the way ( often gets in the way of clicking on respawn targets like flags or squad mates need a way to minimize it if there isn't already)

Automatically being deployed ( this is such a stupid thing to add, let people pick if they want to deploy on a vehicle or at the uncap at the start of a round, why do we have to redeploy to use the chopper or jets)

BR mode being a clone copy of Warzone ( completely ruined it by adding plates and having it almost entirely the same as Warzone. The TTK is huge and isn't needed since there's second chance and respawn beacons)

I think the biggest issue at the moment that needs to take priority is the TTK and TTD, it is such a game killer dieing so quick but taking so many bullets to kill.

There are other issues but some aren't as annoying imo so haven't bothered.

I think its still at a stage where future updates could push it back on track.

    True and i would add its not only light rocket do like 80-85% dmg to tank but also and heavy rockets +heavy warfare u cant kill tank from front only from back now and you must hit all 5 rockets with 0 miss ...  Before season 1  damage was better now its like bugd or changed something i dont know now tanks just survive  like 9/10 times now. And i agree jump bullsh.. should be remover after sliding.. supression is usless, weapon balance just make me angry... Plust i would say need to fix vehicle spawn camping-grabing... Just do people priority first who are in death map not who camp on spot and vehicle do not spawm becouse of it...  Its make everyone equal....
