Transport Helicopter pilot EXP

As a pilot currently enjoying how the helicopters feel, I have taken to flying the transport helicopter around for my team, picking people up and dropping them off in hot zones. Its exciting and I feel like I am truly making an impact on the battle. Yet, at the end of the match, I am near dead last on the scoreboard. I dont particularly care too much about getting on the top of the board, but in the end, it really just affects my ability to level up without playing as infantry. (Infantry is fun too :D)
Currently, the only real way to get exp while piloting a transport heli is to cap a point, or hope your door gunner kills an enemy. You get pretty marginal point values from this because, lets face it, most players cant figure out how to consistently lead their shots with the mini-guns. More often than not, you will get door gunners that are just completely oblivious to targets that you set them up to shoot.
Basically, what I'm asking for is some more ways to get EXP while being the pilot. I have a couple ideas that I think shouldn't be too unbalanced compared to the score/minute you would get with other modes of gameplay while rewarding skillful or team-oriented use of the vehicle.

Here are some of the ideas i've come up with separated into the exp rewarded upon achieving:

  • Easy (10-25 Pts)
    • Clean flying (fly the vehicle for 30 seconds without impact)
    • Allies enter the vehicle (capped to avoid spam)
    • Allies exit the vehicle while capping a neutral or hostile point (capped to avoid spam)
  • Medium (50 Pts)
    • Avoid an incoming enemy rocket via flares or other means.
    • Capture a point (Points awarded increase based on passenger count)
    • Repair by returning to base
    • Successfully recover from critical damage

I think these would be extremely fair because they both encourage team play and reward skillful piloting, while not being too overpowered. Transport heli's are usually pretty easy to counter, and any pilot that can successfully avoid those counters and play the objective at the same time is well deserving of some extra points.

Let me know what you guys think, and maybe add some of your own suggestions if you think of other ways pilots should be awarded exp.
