Tsuru Reef and RCB-90: Issues and Suggestions
About Map: Tsuru Reef
There is way too much land and not enough open water.
Boats are basically pushed to the outer edges of the map and forced to operate in narrow, cramped areas.
For infantry, it feels like we’re being forced to play a BF2042-style “walking simulator” again.
When most players are fighting over the inland objectives, there’s barely anything interesting for the RCB-90 to do.
Because the land sits so much higher than the water, you can barely see anything beyond the shoreline from a boat.
The fighting on land and at sea feels completely disconnected, like you’re playing on two separate servers.
For a naval warfare map, boats feel like an afterthought.
For such a large map, there are also far too few vehicles available.
Making the sea larger and increasing the number of RCB-90 spawns would make the map much more fun.
Paracel Storm was amazing naval warfare map:
It had a vast ocean where boats could move around freely.
The amount of land was just right for infantry gameplay.
RCB could influence the fighting around every objective.
About RCB-90
RCB-90 is way too fragile.
It gets melted almost instantly, even by transport helicopter.
Why can it only carry two players?
It could carry four players in BF4, so limiting it to only two seats feels like a major downgrade.
