Viewing reports for cheating.

How do we find our reports for cheaters?

  • I've been getting some emails every now and then. It comes in batches for me. It just says action has been taken against the player. I haven't seen any of the players that I reported in the game modes I play after the report has been done. I've had a decent experience so far.

They do still come in - I received a feedback email last week after reporting someone. However, it does feel like sometimes I don't get any feedback.

Since there doesn't seem to be a page to check reports, the only thing I can think is to create a simple spreadsheet for report tracking. Something like column A = Date, B = Report ID, C = Response Date, D = Action Taken, E onwards = Additional Details or Notes. It'd be manual, of course, but at least It'd let you monitor reports.

From my experience the only action than MIGHT happen is if you report them on steam, ea does practically nothing with people who do cheat in game they only care about how many they "stopped" before they got in game.

I don’t think you get any notification anymore. They did briefly at the start, and did for 2042 reports. But I think they’ve stopped for Bf6.

  • Cant post messages because I have apparently got invalid html - there is no html in my posts EA.

If you didn't get email from EA (not DICE) in your EA account, then you never will. The only message is an acknowledgement, never what action was\ will taken.

  • They gave me a report # - presumably so that we can cross reference the email to the report. Where's the report? How the hell are we meant to know which report they did or didn't take action on?

And if I find out that they didn't ban the guy for hacking, who was obviously hacking, I'll be pretty pissed off. This wasn't a case where I thought they might be cheating, and they should take a look. This was a case where there was no doubt. The guy was level 6, wiped my squad out, went on to win the round. He was snapping mid-burst between targets, he got 27+ headshots in the round. When he killed me, every bullet was a headshot.

  • So far as I am aware, all you will get is an email from EA stating that they either took no action at this time, or that they did take action and thanking you for reporting.

They don't send the name of who it was, so if you're looking for confirmation that the cheater who went 108/8 (Which happened tonight in breakthrough, he was playing infantry only) actually got banned... there's no way to check that.

Javalin barely works anyways, just use the block feature, and I make sure to report them for harassment along with cheating so they're far less likely to be in your match even if Javalin doesn't figure out if a guy with a 10/1 KDR is cheating.
