I don't think that at all. S1 came out early/mid november I think so S2 came after 3 months. It is pretty standard. 2 maps as free update is the bare minimum but I would not really expect more than that. It takes long to make maps in a BF game. The maps are way bigger than any other similar games.
My problem with the game is mostly matchmaking related that casues a lot of unbalanced games, players not playing objective/not reviving and too many cheaters. These are the ones ruining my fun not that we don't have 20 maps.
