Hello EA and DICE. We only bought the game to play against bots in Portal mode. My friend and I are over 50 and don't want to play against human players (we've had enough of them). It worked fine at first until that changed. Now you need 8 human players, and the server only starts with 20. Please change this back, or we want our money back. What's the problem? Don't you understand that some players prefer playing against bots?
I’m honestly frustrated and disappointed with EA. I’ll be refunding this game.
All I wanted was to play locally with my son — just the two of us in the same house — but apparently, that’s no longer possible. What happened to the days when you could enjoy a simple local match without being forced online with random toxic players? Whatever happened to LAN parties with friends and family?
I’m a 55-year-old gamer and I’ve been an EA customer since the 1980s, but this experience is horrific. It feels like the company has completely forgotten what made gaming fun and personal in the first place.
Until Dec. 8 it was possible to play with bots only. My friend and had a lot of fun. Since yesterday update it’s impossible. again need min. 8 players. We are very angry. just give us all the weapons and let us have fun in private games. or at least let us grind against bots and have fun. i am almost 60 and not nearly as fast as the young guys. thats not funny.
If anything, they are continually blocking any experiences that seem to have any form of solo play in verified modes. Each day I try to play (and I will only play Solo with Bots), I get more disappointed - every day I look for an update which says they have changed the portal to allow Solo games -- no news yet!
maybe then stick to playing farm simulator and stop complaining about wanting to use exploits in BF6 !!!

If you read the post... which I'm guessing you didn't with a comment like that... the post talks about Solo/Co-Op PvE similar to what BF2042 had. The thing EA promised in the first place.
Yes, XP farms have been an issue, but that is a seperate issue to this. Sometimes people just want to relax and play PvE. This isn't about XP, they can remove XP for solo play for all I care (and I'm sure others will agree), just let the players play the game how they like, be that PvP or PvE.
Surely, if they supported both (which BF2042 proved they can), it will retain a higher player base - which in turn leads to more sales and loyalty to the franchise.
