Weapon Attachment Point System Needs Removed

Please remove the weapon attachment point system! If the weapon has the ability to have an attachment in a slot, then you should be able to use it! All the old BF games were that way! Why did they have to copy CoD with this?! It's not OP if everyone can do it! It's so dumb and not realistic. At a minimum, make default attachments cost 0 points!

Yeah, I agree. I did a little post about it too and how they completely miss the mark with their so-called balance, whole system needs a full re-work.. the broken class system, crappy point system and weapons that feel tuned by RNG instead of actual design.... here's the post if you wanna check it out 🤷‍♂️

I like the points system. It makes you choose your attachments based on play style and forces you to compromise. I wouldn't like to see a maxed-out LMG with 200 round belt, max hip fire attachments, max recoil attachments, and a thermal sight, for example.  Points prevent that from happening.

If there was no points system, and you could max out your gun in every competing direction, it would make it even more unfair for players who hadn't yet had all the unlocks versus players who did. At least now, unlocks require you to decide and compromise and give a more balanced competition.

Ty_Ger07 That “fair” argument doesn’t hold up. The points system doesn’t belong in Battlefield it’s a lazy excuse for balance that ends up punishing players who actually put time into the game. If someone hasn’t unlocked attachments yet, that’s on them. Earn it like the rest of us. And your “maxed-out LMG” example isn’t the issue proper weapon tuning and testing should handle that, not some system that limits players. Battlefield’s supposed to be about realism not restrictive mechanics that make every gun feel identical or broken.

It better be remove the point system and redesign. Like extended magazine add carry weight and reduce the movement speed. This game has so much potential to look better, but these annoying system disturb the fun. So many people playing this game for fun, and for the good looking guns.

I can only agree with the previous posters, the points system isn't all it's cracked up to be. Battlefield never needed a points system of any kind and doesn't need one now... We're not playing like the kiddies of Duty. I hope that the points system will be removed to season 2, etc...
