were all pretty much aware at this point that attachments affect this mechanic. tap firing has been a thing for battlefield since I can remember thats nothing new I employ it regularly. Regardless of all that the point is we dont like the mechanic being as strong as it is period. especially when supression the mechanic everyone seems to have forgotten about also contributes to bloom and stack on top of your own bloom you create by holding down the trigger, to the point that you become wildly inaccurate. Thats stupid and makes for a very frustrating experience. We have entirely too many things to contend with when it comes to gunfights as is our guns accuracy being bad because of yet another rng mechanic is ridiculous. Supression when introduced back in bf3 was already annoying enough. Now this heavy handed bloom is just over the top. there are some guns that just dont seem to be affected by it at all. you bring up the m4a1 which is my most used weapon I have unlocked every attachment for it. I lose to the m433 pretty much everytime even though that gun is meant for mid range fights. I lose to it in close range 80% of the time not because im cant aim not because im missing but because the moment I hold down the trigger coupled with the m4's fast rof bloom immedaite lowers my accuracy beyond belief even in close quarters and I just lose the headshot trade everytime. that is bull**bleep** period there is no amount of change attachments I should have to do to correct that. im in the weapons intended range and im being out gunned due to mising bullets because of bloom and not aim. its too dang strong and needs toned way down as the op suggested. its too overtuned and makes gunfights feel frustrating everytime they over swing on this stupid mechnic and we have to **bleep** until they adjust it it down every single time the make a new battlefield. We clearly dont like the mechnic stop overdoing it with it.
Maybe we are just playing the game completely differently but i even use a suppressor which doesnt help with any sort of gun control/bloom, and i still win close quarter fights against assault class shotguns/m433 alike as a support class. I consistently get 3-5 KD per game as well and only time i feel the effects of bloom is just further distances, which you're not meant to engage effectively anyway. The blue laser keeps so much of bloom in control on top of its tight hip fire i literally cannot feel much of a difference.
going prone/crouching with good positioning wins you fights much more than raw reflexes do. Playing smarter pays off more than running around and dying in a second, you just need to be more situationally aware on map control, enemy spawns, flank routes, teammate deaths, good offensive/defensive smoke grenades. I can pick off enemy flanks and get behind them a lot of the time and get pretty good kills that lead to game winning positions especially when it's practically trench warfare.
You must be using a controller. Think about this... For your input method, you get 25% less recoil and bloom. So you are more accurate out the gate. We M&K players have to use attachments to get the same level of accuracy and recoil control. I bet the OP is a M&K user and you are a controller. This is the BASELINE difference between the input methods, you see why there are so many controller users... because of the advantages!
Now, do you think this is fair? Do you think you need the reductions? Do you think it is an acceptable business practice for a company to hard code in an advantage that the majority of players get yet claim to want balance and fairness?
Think about how good you do in matches, your K/D and if you think you are that good, plug in a M&K and use it. You should still do well, but your skill will be more inline with what it should be without the crutches/training wheels of Aim Assist and controller user bonus.
