Weapon camos should not be tied solely to mastery levels
I was a bit shocked when I discovered that the method of unlocking weapon camos was simply a weapon mastery requirement. This turns the pursuit of weapon camos into an unnecessary grind fest for something so fundamentally aesthetic. I can understand that these requirements are in place to encourage the use of different weapons, the problem of which is magnified in consideration of the general grind for mastery levels. Focusing only on the weapon goes against a core principle of battlefield, score supersedes kills. Many players, myself included typically commit to the generation of team points, whether that be playing the objective or assisting the team in the myriad of ways available to each class. While I may not achieve top positions on the leaderboard due to kills, I certainly achieve these positions due to my overall points.
Rather than focusing solely on the use of other weapons, Camos should also be tied to play styles. For example, having requirement that encourage players to shoot while mounted, healing teammates in an objective area, or getting a certain amount of headshots while stationary will go much further in accommodating for and encouraging a variety of play styles that will ultimately benefit the player and team.
