Wears out like a shiney new pennie.

I have played every Battlefield title and very much enjoyed most of them. Yes im an old head 56 to be exact, so my reflexes have slowed a bit. This game to me is not Battlefield its a hybrid cross if BF and COD had a love child this is it. After 50 levels and about 50 hours it has become nothing more then a die spawn repeat CQB meatgrinder. The maps are way to small, and you are funneled into the battle zone by ridiculous  out of bounds zones. Old titles you could be very tactical you had room to breathe and access what was going on around you and combat enemy attacks with room to flank and counterattack. In this game you are forced to fight in tight spaces.

And on some maps where teams use chopper spam to get up on high buildings you cant get to from the ground and stay there with Snipers, Engineers, and Support feeding unlimited ammo and RPG spam for vehicles and you have no piolets to get anyone from your team up there or fly to attack them belive me your team is toast.

Lastly lots of  players have found every head glitch and map exploit known to man to shoot at you from where you may see a sliver of them to shoot back at,but most times your FUBAR. I could go on and on about things but Im not gonna do that this is long enough. I still have some fun but at the end of the day the maps have grown old and repetitive. Bf6 is already wearing out like a shiney new pennie.

  • I can relate I'm 59 started with BF1942 when the internet was so slow we had to go to LAN parties to play multiplayer. Yes I agree it is much more fast paced and have spawned myself into bullets quite a few times.  Funny I was on one of those roofs last night and enjoyed the relaxing aspect of spamming all the poor souls below- they got up there eventually and wiped us out.  It's hard for me to say for sure if this new fast paced close quarters style will wear me down or not- it's early and I'm sure there will be larger maps coming that play more like the old way.  I have to admit it feels like a bunch of sweaty COD players have dropped into the battlefield!  There is very little SBMM for us AARP players LMAO!

  • I agree 100%.  There are a lot of things I like but there plenty of things I don’t.  I used to play old Battlefield titles for hours at a time, but I can only play BF6 for an hour or 2.  The small maps get old quickly.   I was never a fan of Firestorm, but that’s the only large map we have.

I don't care much for the tweeker play level either.  Really tough to put a team together with an objective.  Plays like COD Warzone.  Exactly like the OP stated - spawn;  run 100 yards;  headshotted;  spawn;  run 100 yards; some tweeker jumps out and insta-kills (highly sus) you;  spawn; run 100 yards;  random dude stabs me in the neck.

And I'm supposed to kill 1000 of these players before I can unlock a hangrip?
