Weird symbol
Please help me understand what this symbol means — it keeps showing up every now and then while I’m playing. I have stable ping and FPS, but I can’t figure out what this symbol is trying to indicate.

Now, going to your question, that sounds like you are having some instabilities
The icon there should be the warning for Latency Variation. It might happen due to network instabilities or in case your game is having some performance issues.
One thing to try is to lower the graphics settings and see if the issue persists.
