What if you could auto-switch to a vehicle seat?

I find myself spamming F2 when I am in packed tank without any combat ability. How great would it be if, when you try to switch to an occupied seat, it places you in an auto-switch state that will switch you when the player in the seat dies or leave? If there are more players trying to switch to the same seat, automatically place them in a queue.

This makes it fair, the first one gets the spot, and while waiting you can actually focus on the battlefield and be fully ready to engage when you are switched.

This would be a feature very easily communicated, with a simple visual marker by the spot number, indicating that you are either waiting for your turn or in a queue.
