What's in a name?

To play one single title because they couldn't be bothered to include a name change function in the game? Perhaps if I thought it was legitimately bad, I'd consider it but I just don't, particularly when name change has to be among the oldest options available since gaming began. I thought the Anonymous setting might work but the Advisor said that it anonymized others? That doesn't even make sense. And strangely it seemed to be the same for Streamer mode, which I don't understand either. You'd think one or the other would keep my own ID random, wouldn't you? Am half hoping someone official tells me that information is inaccurate and that one or the other will suit this need.
