Yup, EA has been like that for a long time. If you don't watch what you say or what name you use, then you get flagged by some AI that only scans for keywords and you automatically get a draconic penalty. If you then try to contact support, it's quite likely you'll have to work around copy-pasted responses and make multiple appeals before they finally connect you to qualified support staff. The whole process can often take weeks, if not months. It's not fair, but I don't think they intend on changing it any time soon.
What's even more confusing... neither the warning nor temp suspend appear in my penalty history anymore. I don't know if that's just to keep me from further appeals or if someone quietly decided to help me out that little bit or what. To their credit, only one of the 3 or 4 advisors I've dealt with was truly awful. The others seemed to genuinely want to help but limited, very clearly, in how much they are allowed to do, which is basically copy and paste stuff. I'm beginning to think they're there to try and make a user feel like they're being helped without actually helping. It's definitely challenging, and I agree, probably by design.
