Why am I punished for using my own Spawn Beacon?

The title kinda sums it up. I do not understand why when I use my own spawn beacon it has to destroy itself? Why is it set up like this? I need it explained to me like I'm 5 because I do not understand.

I am 95% solo on here and I like to use the recon class aggressively. It's so annoying getting to a spawn point I like and then having to take time after spawning to re-put down the same exact equipment instead of just spawning and immediately getting in to the action.

Is there a logical reason why it's designed this way? I can spawn infinitely on a squad mates beacon and that's deemed fine. But if it's MINE then no. It must be destroyed. And since wherever you place it needs to be like perfect, sometimes it takes multiple tries to even get the **bleep** thing back on the ground. Can we either take away the self destroying aspect entirely or at the very LEAST let me spawn on it like 10 times before it blows up....

Other than these small, annoying aspect's I am enjoying the game.

And also, please give us the option to move the mini map to the top left on the screen.

Sorry.

  • It’s honestly one of the only things I like about this game.

  • Honestly, I think its better that the owner destroys it upon spawning. I get it that it's frustrating if you are sniping at a distance but the spawn beacon is already insane in CQC maps since weapons aren't class specific. Recon's dropping it on point with the shotgun already makes it incredibly tough to hold points if the enemy knows what they are doing. If they didn't have to hesitate and drop it when they spawned again it would be broken.
