Why are veichles so weak again?

They really aren't weak, they just tuned it a bit so they aren't too easy to use.

Well if you want vehicles to be as far away from Obj. as posible, thats the way to go

This post is another example of why developers "don't listen to players". Half a forum complains that vehicles are unkillable and overpowered, and another half complains they are too weak lol

Personally, I also think they are a little too weak. For example, 2 RPGs in the back of the IFV = death, while before that, you had like 5% of health and a chance to get away. I would prefer it to remain like that.

I find the biggest problem is Engineers having to much ammo now, at release Engineers had just enough ammo to solo a tank if they played it smart (like anyother BF) now the rocket spam is never ending across the map

Cod players wasnt used to fighting both infantry and vehicles.  Considering the game is nearly 70% cod players.... Dice considered their feesback because of the high volume of complaints.... I mean let's be honest.... no true battlefield player ever really cried about a **bleep** tank... i mean its battlefield.... we began losing our core community with battlefield 2042. Battlefield 6 finished it off. So now we have a massive player base of cod players mixed with a little battlefield veterans 

Exactly my thoughts, most players now are only infantry minded and dont realy want vehicles in the game, the fans who want large conquest play are mostly long gone due to the small "meat grinder" maps with to many players on them.

In my view, IFVs are still too powerful, while MBTs feel a bit weak.

Furthermore, the infantry-vehicle balance in BF3 and BF4 was arguably worse—Jet players could basically farming the other players on the server. However, Battlefield was truly groundbreaking and captivating back then, so everyone just sucked it up and played.

Nowadays, Battlefield isn't that unique anymore. The devs made a lot of improvements just to attract infantry players, so it makes sense that infantry players are more demanding and the devs have to listen.

 After all, Battlefield is the only game where vehicle players can farm infantry. If you tell them to play World of Tanks or War Thunder for pure vehicle-on-vehicle combat, they refuse. Thus, vehicle player retention is high, whereas infantry players have ten thousand other games they can choose to play instead.

Yep, the nerf to MBTs just means I stay further back from the flags now. While thermal smoke destroying C4 was not grounded in realism (as far as I know) it encouraged me to take my tank into flags on my own knowing I could counter at least one recon C4 ambush.

But the new boost mechanic and extra manueverability is compensating, so overall MBTs are in a better place than at launch.

RPG damage output isn't too oppressive and if the enemy is spamming rockets you still have to retreat if you wanna survive which has been the case since launch.

Personally I wanted the repair tool nerfed, it was too easy for one engineer to keep a tank alive and it ruined 1 vs 1 tank duels and gave bad tank players an unfair advantage. You still lose in a 1 vs 1 if they have an engineer repairing but if you get more shots on target you now have a better chance of winning the duel.

I can still roll in and get a dozen kills within seconds and cap multiple points before I get blown up, and that is with me being aggressive knowing the risks. Tanks are fine the way they are right now. RPG's finally don't feel useless as well again.

Ya'll want to be immortal in these things and that's the problem.

Nah, I've despised vehicles as far back as BF2 and have always made it my goal to destroy every single tank and aircraft on the map.

Battlefields "identity" has always just been large player count. Vehicles just existed to be annoying. There's a reason historically the most popular maps in every BF game are the smaller ones that are infantry focused.
