Why Bots always take vehicle before actual players?

I have seen so many times that our chopper was taking off and the pilot was a bot. Soon the chopper was shot down and I could do nothing. Bots take vehicle too fast while they are not capable to turn the situation around. Choppers are just one types of example.

Others like tanks or AA, players can just grab the tanks while bot is driving. The point is, at the start of the game where everyone is deployed, that after bots take the vehicle and players replace them, the setting of the equipment will be default, not custom by player, and there are no ways we can change the setting once the tanks drive away after some distance. This problem is very annoying  because you can't just simply desert it or drive it. Both will make you unhappy.
