Why did I buy this game?

I enjoyed this when it first came out and i have quite a few hours in, but now since Battle Royal the game has been ruined, multiplayer lobbies are filled with Cheaters, Got little kids Tea-bagging, it just feels like COD slop to me now, Blackwell has to be the worst map, as this is where most of this is taking place. 

I am just not getting the enjoyment out of the $70 spent on this and feel like just uninstalling it. there are so many problems, i have been checking the forums and discussions on steam, i don't get it, I see way more negative reviews than anything else, so why is there nothing being done to fix any of the issues i keep seeing. At least Borderlands have been rolling out updates weekly, the process is way to slow and may take years at this rate. maybe i should reach out for a refund and just drop EA all together.
