Sorry mate, I'm against you on that one. I see what you mean from an input preference and flexibility point of view, but there's a reason why input is designed to match its native platform. In terms of fairness and competitive play, let me use Fortnite as an example. In Fortnite, Console-Only tournaments are hosted for console players to compete against each other, but Epic allows native keyboard and mouse support on consoles. This creates an unfair playing field, as KBM players have full range of motion compared to console players who are limited by stick-dependent movement.
This isn’t true realistically, a lot of the (console) competitive landscape for Fortnite is dominated by controller players because there’s not that big of a skill difference between both inputs anymore, and really hasn’t been for a long time now. There are more than enough settings and features that essentially mirror kbm functionality on console that those limitations aren’t even really valid at this point.
