Alethes the sad thing is even if people with crashing Xboxes sent them into Microsoft for repairs. Microsoft will say the consoles pass all their hardware tests and will ship the same console back to them.
Unless Microsoft runs a Battlefield 6 multiplayer test. Which I'm sure they don't.
These poor people are stuck with defective consoles and the only thing they can do is buy a new one. 🙁

@oskool_007 Much unfortunately so. It was a massively frustrating experience dealing/contacting Microsoft in this regard: the initial point of contact was deliberately disavowing it; only when I pushed forward unambiguously stating that I knew what was going on did he relent. Unbelievable the lengths some companies will go to to avoid accountability and a stain in their reputation.
One other person I know also had his console replaced by MS. Exactly as you said: this "new" console had the same problem. Guess what happened.

Does everyone here have a monitor with amd freesync? Further question, what monitor does everyone use? I have had this issue only on EA titles and I have theory as to what is causing the problem.

Its really discouraging that they wont even acknowledge it.....its NOT a heat or system issue..... it shouldnt brick some consoles and not others...... i wish i could play this game and buy a bunch of skins but alas.....they dont want my money..... im wondering if the BR is gonna do the same thing....

Yeah it's incredibly frustrating. I did it through the microsoft order history via the xbox website. When I got my refund I had no longer than an hour of play time. If you've played a bunch there's a high chance they won't refund it, even if the game is practically busted.

Just coming back to this post after a week or so and it's really disappointing that this is still being ignored. I think people have a right to know as to what is actually wrong with their copies of the game/their consoles. But as long as the money is coming through Dice and EA can just put their fingers in their ears and pretend nothing is happening.

UPDATE... After a decent week (having 3 days off during the day) it seemed like only certain maps were a problem. Well that's not true. Last night booted twice in a 3 hour session( not bad). Today? Booted over 10 times since 6am. Most games have had lots of bots. Fiddled with my NAT settings, doesn't matter. Guess we are all alpha testers for their servers at this point, I can't imagine what the other issues could possibly be.

Update: At the moment, HD packs installed, HD packs uninstalled, multiplayer packs installed only, etcetera, makes no difference. HDR on or off, 1080p or 4K, it doesn't matter: I am inconsistently able to play. Sometimes full matches, but sometimes not.
For those that purchased a new console as a response to this and had it still occur: Did you purchase the same Xbox Series X - the one with a disc drive? The reason I ask is that whoever you purchased it from may have reached into their inventory and handed you a 2020 - 2023 Xbox. I'm curious to see if anyone purchased the White Digital-Only Xbox Series X (2024), as that is guranteed to have the most recent hardware change: that version of the Xbox, as well as all 2024 built and onward Xboxs use a 6nm processor and have a more efficient heatsink with copper pipes. Taking apart your xbox might disolve your warranty, not sure, so I wouldn't recommend taking yours apart if you're still covered, but regardless. Additionally, what would help is knowing how often you actually play on your Xbox: for me, my Series X has been in use almost daily, running games for 90% of its lifecycle. So I'm assuming age + usage rate + old way of dealing with heat has led to this crash.
I'd like to add too, that this game is one of the few games that crash like this: my console can handle recent releases like Dying Light: The Beast, and Helldivers just fine, and I've played games like Destiny 2 and Darktide (all of these games being fairly CPU heavy) with no crashes - so my hypothesis about the new parts might be wrong, not sure.
