1.1.2.0 Language Switching Broken, “ID Player Delta Time Damage” Always Showing

On November 21, 2025 (AM JST), EA pushed a small update to the EA Launcher. There was no information available online about what it included, but after the update I started encountering new issues with Battlefield 6 (version 1.1.2.0).

To troubleshoot, I uninstalled BF6 (English version) and reinstalled it in Japanese on a different internal SSD (not the boot drive). It took me almost 20 hours to finish downloading it. This actually reduced the frequency of in-game crashes and freezes. However, I began getting a new error:

“SERVER DISCONNECTED – ERROR CODE 1:85008S:17862870170:21465661440”

"SERVER DISCONNECTED" occurs from time to time since the version 1.1.1.50. My PC fully meets the BF6 system requirements, so hardware is not the cause.

Language Switching Problem

In EA App > Settings > Application > Language, I can change the launcher language, but BF6 itself will not switch.

Switching English → Japanese doesn’t work.

Switching Japanese → English doesn’t work either.

The BF6 installation language seems permanently locked regardless of EA App or system settings.

I also tried changing my EA account locale and the Windows registry value:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\EA Games\Battlefield 6\Locale
REG_SZ = en_US

But the issue remains.

“ID Player Delta Time Damage” Dialog Keeps Appearing

In the Japanese locale, there is no ON/OFF toggle to disable the “ID Player Delta Time Damage” dialog. Because the toggle is missing in this language setting, the dialog continuously shows up in-game and blocks part of the loadout UI, making loadout adjustments difficult.

This is the main reason I attempted to switch the game back to English — but again, BF6 refuses to change languages.

Looking for Insight

Has anyone discovered:

Why BF6 won’t switch languages even when the EA App, EA account locale, and the Windows registry are updated, and

Why the “ID Player Delta Time Damage” toggle is unavailable in the Japanese locale, causing the dialog to appear constantly?
