9800x3d & 9070 Xt Sapphire Nitro+ DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG Temporary Fix
Greetings everyone. I encountered dxgi_error_device_hung on my new computer. After many hours spent reading articles and viewing videos, I believe I have discovered a temporary fix. Also, I hope game developers will resolve this problem quickly.
The specifications of my previous PC were:
Motherboard:
ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. TUF GAMING B560M-PLUS (LGA1200)
CPU:
Intel Core i7 10700F @ 2.90GHz Comet Lake 14nm Technology
GPU:
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti (MSI)
Ram:
Corsair Vengeance 32 GB (2x16 GB) DDR4 CL16 3200 MHz
Air-Cooler:
Akasa Venom Voodoo (10-12 years old but excellent working lol)
Tower:
Cooler Master HAF X 942 Black Edition Full Tower
I utilized FSR Ultra Performance with all graphic settings set to low. I was achieving 80-100 fps, but spotting enemies was difficult. Battlefield 6 wasn't experiencing the dxgi_error_device_hung error, and it ran smoothly on Win 10 Pro.

It is a new PC equipped with Windows 11 Pro 25H2 version. I was excited to play Battlefield 6. I started the game, and within two minutes, it became unresponsive. This hung error began occurring repeatedly. This problem makes me feel sad. I have invested numerous hours and watched many videos on how to resolve that hung error. This issue did not happen on my previous computer. Every other game operates like this; only Battlefield 6 does not. Now, I will write about what I did, and finally, how I resolved it.
My attempts:
1) I updated the BIOS and then installed the latest version of the Adrenalin software. I have disabled unnecessary features on Windows. Reinstalling the game, drivers, and DirectX installation did not resolve the issue.
2) I accessed the BIOS and turned off Expo, Above 4G Decoding, and Re-Size Bar Support (after discovering a solution for my hung crashing issue, I re-enabled all of them). They encountered no issues at all. You may utilize them.)
3) I enabled the Turbo Mode in the BIOS. It was ineffective, so I have turned it off.
4) I utilized the Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) tool in safe mode to uninstall the Adrenalin edition. (I've utilized Adrenalin Edition 25.10.1 Battlefield™ 6 Preview and Adrenalin Edition 25.9.2 versions.) This was not helpful for me. Consequently, I reinstalled the Adrenalin version 25.9.2.
5) I have experimented with various regedit commands to resolve hung errors based on YouTube videos or Google articles. In fact, I have tried this previously, and it was unsuccessful. The issue was that I placed the codes in the incorrect section, lol.
The accurate locations are as follows:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers
TdrDiDelay - 60 - Decimal
TdrDelay - 60 - Decimal
If you do not see those TDR names, please click there.
New
DWORD (32-bit) Value
TdrDiDelay
60 Decimal
New

6) Kindly access this file, open it with Notepad, modify the value to 1, and save the changes.
Documents - Battlefield 6 - Settings - Steam - Profsave_profile
GstRender.Dx12Enabled 1
7) -dx11 was not effective for me. I have discovered these Steam Launch Commands:
-dx12 -bEnableGlimpse 0
From a gaming standpoint, I reduced all visual settings. Deactivated FSR, modified loadouts, and altered factions. (I am presently utilizing NATO.) Kindly refrain from using the engineering class as the primary loadout.
After switching factions and classes, I accessed the firing range area in the game and subsequently participated in a multiplayer match. After 2 minutes, the game froze again with that hung error.

**SOLUTION:
After attempting numerous times, I lost faith in finding a solution to that problem. Being the unluckiest person globally, I aimed to give it one final attempt. I'm not sure how, but I've resolved it just now. I believe I’ve discovered a provisional answer to this.
1) Kindly uninstall Adrenalin software. (This time, I didn't utilize the DDU.) I navigated to - Control Panel - Uninstall Programs - Adrenalin.
2) Kindly enter "regedit" in the search field.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers
TdrDiDelay - 60 - Decimal
TdrDelay - 60 - Decimal
If you do not see those TDR names, please right click there.
New
DWORD (32-bit) Value
TdrDiDelay

New

The regedit area can now be shut down.
3) Kindly access this file, open it in Notepad, modify the value to 1, and save it.
Documents - Battlefield 6 - Settings - Steam - Profsave_profile
GstRender.Dx12Enabled 1
4) Kindly employ the NATO faction. Kindly refrain from beginning with an Engineer class.
5) I accessed the Advanced settings in Graphics. Anti-Lag, FSR, and all other settings caused my game to freeze and crash. I turned all of them off. For the time being, please refrain from using FSR or any other options in that menu.
6) My graphics quality settings are:
Texture Quality - High
Texture Filtering - Overkill
Mesh Quality - Medium
Lightning Quality - High
High Fidelity Objects Amount - Ultra
Rest is low or off.
Cons: Sometimes, when you open your zoom on your weapon, you see darkness. It will fill in your zoom and everywhere. Please close your zoom and reopen it. Currently, this is the only known method. I believe this occurs due to the uninstallation of the Adrenalin version.
I hope I have been helpful. This method currently works on Steam. I haven't tried it on the EA app. I hope it works for you too.
These attempts and the solution I found for the dxgi_error_device_hung error, did not harm my computer. However, please remember that I'm not responsible for any problems that may occur. Best regards. ^^
