After BF6 Update 1.1.3.5 game wont play at all on PS5.

BF6 update 1.1.3.5 issue. Please Help! after this update my game wont play at all. ive rebuilt database, cleared cache, and even uninstalled and reinstalled the entire game but it still wont play. every time i try to play it it says there is an update file available and to go to downloads to view, but no update is ever available or viewable. and i have plenty of free space in my storage. ive been gaming for many years and this is a first for me. also, interestingly BF2042 wont launch now either and also says it needs an update file. however, unlike BF6, which says there is an update "which i cant find", BF2042 says there's an update only when trying to launch the game. when i "check for update" on BF2042 it says im on latest version of app. on BF6 it says i have an update available whether im trying to launch the game or "checking for an update" either one. anyone else had this issue or know of a solution?
