This is truly the strangest bug I've ever seen. I use an RME audio interface, and all my WDM recording devices are disabled in Windows (because I use ASIO for recording). Furthermore, input channel monitoring in the RME mixer itself is also disabled.
During this bug, the game somehow magically turns off all sound and turns on monitoring of the input channel on the RME (bypassing both Windows and the RME mixer), because I hear the noise of a plugged-in guitar jack), as soon as I turn off the game, everything returns to normal, the noise disappears, the audio interface input does not sound.
It seems to me that the game is trying to somehow switch input and output devices, and at a low level (before the Windows mixer), but I don’t understand why, I even have VoIP turned off in the game...
