There do seem to be a lot of peole being banned for no reason. It looks like it might be connected to using controllers with back paddles like scuff or Ellite. EA refuses to provide any info, there are quite a few people on this thread.

To everyone who can only respond with "you must have cheated, I've never been banned", that's what we all thought. I've played every BF game have a 16 year old EA account and am a 42 year old gamer dad who has no interest in cheating and just wanted to play with his son.

It's unlikely to be related to the controllers themselves. The Elite series are official Microsoft products and Scuf are officially licensed, but if any software (reWASD, DS4Windows etc etc) or other devices (E.G. Cronus Zen) are being used in conjunction, then that could be a cause.
N.B. I'm not accusing anyone in this thread of using third-party software or devices with officially licensed products. Just pointing out that the cause likely lies elsewhere.
