Bought BF6 on Steam, first launch says account restricted from online features.

The phantom edition on steam and just downloaded it, when first launching it says the EA account is restricted from online features. But no history with penalty when checking. What the hay?!

    There's not a huge amount we can do to help with account issues or bans here, since nobody has access to game accounts. However, with that said, have you checked that the EA account you've linked your Steam account to is the same one that you're checking on the EA Help website? I'm just asking in case it's a different account, and that's why nothing is coming up in the penalty history. 

    Also, do you have a screenshot of the message you're seeing? It'd be good to see exactly what it says, in case it's not ban related.

    Yea it is the same account that I linked, I also have no bans according to the penalty website

    Pls help!

    you can still appeal if you dont see the ban in penalty history but good luck with that since the appeal system is just AI auto-denying it seems

    Hi, sorry to hear you’re still having trouble.

    As ElliotLH pointed out, account-related issues can only be handled through EA Help.

    If you don’t see any record listed in the Penalty History tool,  use this webform instead.

    1. Open the webform.
    2. Fill out the form with as much detail as possible.
    3. Select Submit.
    4. Then select Email us.

    Your case will be sent to our dedicated team for review. You can expect an email from noreply@ea.com within 10 days, though sometimes it takes longer. Thank you for your patience.
