Banned on BF6

Ive been banned on BF6 since November. Ive waited months since I've submitted my appeal. This is absolutely ridiculous and negligent on Ea's part. I bought a 3rd party controller (Flydigi) which I presume caused the ban. I was accused of cheating because of the controller even though I bought the controller because of its ergonomics. The FLYdigi controller I bought also had zero mods done to it. It was basically the same as an X box controller but with hall effect thumbsticks so no controller drift.

    Hey sgtlongbow

you waste your time on hackers wanting to get unbaned

I understand why it might feel like that. Bans absolutely are applied for a reason, but it's possible in a few rare cases that there are false positives. We won't know through the forums, which is why if anyone feels there's been a mix-up, and the rules weren't broken, it's important to know they can pop in a ban appeal. Our Terms of Service team handles bans and suspensions, and they'll look into things from there.

...but wont follow up on reports of people cheating...

This isn't something we can do through the forums either. There is a team that investigates cheating, it's just not us. Our blog post shares more information about what EA Staff can and can't do here on the EA forums:

Saying that, it's never a waste of time to report suspicious behavior or cheating. It's just important to report them through the official channels we've set up to receive them. We have a dedicated team that reviews these cases, and when reports are submitted, through those channels it actually gives them valuable insights on improving their tools. If you ever suspect someone's cheating, follow the steps in the guide below, and that'll help the report reach the right teams.
