Severe/Unplayable Latency & Packet Loss in BF6 Multiplayer (Xbox) - Since Day 1
I am writing to report persistent and severe connectivity issues that have made the multiplayer experience in Battlefield 6 completely unplayable since launch on my Xbox Series X. Since day one, I have been hit by constant rubber-banding, players freezing, and sudden teleporting, which renders every match frustrating. This severe lag is visually confirmed by the constant presence of the ping and packet loss symbols in the corner of my screen.
My gameplay during the BF6 Beta was smooth, stable, and excellent, with no connectivity problems whatsoever. My entire network setup including the same internet service provider, modem, router, and use of 5GHz Wi-Fi is identical to what I used during the Beta. Despite this, the full game is completely broken for me from a network perspective.
I have already performed extensive troubleshooting to try and isolate the problem. I have tested both my regular 5GHz Wi-Fi connection and a direct Ethernet cable connection to the Xbox, and the connectivity issues persist regardless of the method. I have also rebooted my modem, router, and console (including full power cycles) multiple times without success. I have absolutely no issues with latency, packet loss, or rubber-banding in any other online multiplayer game or application on this console or on any other device in my home. The problem is definitively limited to Battlefield 6 on my Xbox.
Hoping the EA team or community members can provide any solution or suggestion.
