I’ve just bought an XBox ROG Ally X and downloaded BF6 Warzone (to try it before paying for a second copy of the game) and have the same error. My EA account shows no penalties, so I’m guessing it’s some kind of glitch.
i’d have been well p#ss#d off if I’d already paid for a PC copy of the game. I’ll try BF 2042 and see if that works…

We might need to make a new post about this because that "solution" will make this thread get overlooked

Is this a chatbot account? You keep saying to appeal the ban but if you read every single post, non have penalties and all are able to play on a console and not the pc.

It says marked as a solution on this dudes reply but no one here is getting help from that. I have no penalties so I doubt I actually have a ban this has to do with something else.

We can't talk to the terms of service team. They just give the exact same copy pasted response to everyone with no way to live chat or correspond with an actual human being to discuss the issue. Then customer service on live chat just tells you to talk to the terms of service team, it's an endless loop.

It's some kind of vicious circle.- ElliotLH4 months agoHero+
Hi Ziftix,
I'm sorry, but we can't really help much with bans here. The only people who handle them are EA's Terms of Service team.
However, you can contact them to appeal the ban, and the guide below should allow you to initiate the appeal. They will investigate and respond with their decision.

Hello, I faced such a problem, I was presented with the Battlefield 6 game on steam, I play it successfully, and now I wanted to buy a new battle pass about the version! I went to the EA website and successfully purchased a battle pass to my account, but when I enter the game I don't have a battle pass (more than 12 hours have passed), after a long search for a solution to the problem on the Internet, I was advised to download the EA launcher and enter the game through it and activate the battle pass (my EA account is linked to Battlefield 6 on Steam). After installing the game in the EA launcher, a window pops up with the inscription "account restricted battlefield 6" (screen will be attached), after which I started looking for a solution to the problem on the Internet and realized that I was blocked for something. Be kind to help me in this not easy situation! (At the time of writing this report, I never got a battle pass). Thank you in advance!

Im experiencing the situation as you, I play on PS5 were I bought the game but tried downloading it today on my pc, mainly because i thought it could look better on it(didnt buy just REDSEC), but it says im restricted but have no penalties on my account. It happened also on the first time launching the game on pc. Im just leaving a message so I can come back to this thread and maybe find a solution...

So I have been playing on Xbox because I've been torn on using Steam or the EA app. I have Xbox's Game Pass Ultimate so I get a 10% discount or whatever.
I am using my stream PC and downloaded BF6/Redsec on it via Steam and EA. I have no issues launching the game on Xbox, or Steam, however, when launching the game from EA, I get the online restrictions or whatever.
It has to be a server side issue and they're likely working on it. If you want to start playing, download it via Steam and you'll sign into your EA account. Seems to work fine that way for me!
EDIT. Also wanted to note I have no penalties on my account
